The Central Gauteng Lions (CGL) in conjunction with Cricket South Africa will host a jam-packed Bullring come 9 February 2020. The ever-popular grass embankment has officially been sold out.
Standard Bank Proteas will tackle ICC Cricket World Cup champions and ICC World No. 1 ranked team England, starting at 10am that Sunday in what will no doubt be a sold-out stadium so says Central Gauteng Lions CEO Jono Leaf-Wright;
“The 5th Momentum One Day International will no doubt be a cracking game of cricket: With the grass embankment sold out, advance sales are indicative of this game’s popularity. There are still grandstand and pavilion tickets available, but I urge keen fans to purchase their tickets soon in order to avoid disappointment!”
The match which is fondly known as the Momentum ODI PinkDay is in aid of breast cancer awareness, with Charlotte Maxeke Breast Care Clinic as the beneficiary. All funds will be allocated towards breast cancer research and saving lives.
