The Brisbane Heat’s purpose of Bringing Families Together has been given a significant boost after announcing a new sponsorship with leading outdoor retailer BCF.
BCF is Australia’s biggest retailer of boating, camping, fishing, leisure and watersports equipment, with their 137 stores across the country supplying families with everything they need to enjoy the great outdoors this summer holidays.
As an official club sponsor, BCF’s logo will sit on the sleeve of Heat players throughout the KFC Big Bash League season, as well as this weekend’s rebel Women’s Big Bash League Finals at Allan Border Field.
Brisbane Heat General Manager Andrew McShea said the partnership with BCF was the perfect alignment of two family-focused brands.
“The Brisbane Heat has a clear purpose of bringing families together. We do this by playing an entertaining brand of T20, putting on an exciting game-day experience, inspiring the next generation of fans to play our game, and by aligning ourselves with brands who share in our values of family and outdoor summer fun. BCF do this perfectly.
“The BBL is all about spending time with friends and family during the summer holidays and enjoying the great weather and outdoor lifestyle Queensland and Australia are blessed with, making the Heat and BCF a great fit.
Our fans and players love fishing, camping, surfing and just about any outdoor activity South East Queensland has to offer, so there is going to be a lot of excitement around our new partnership.
“We look forward to a great summer ahead working with the BCF team,” McShea said.
BCF General Manager – Marketing Ben McConnell said the partnership is a fantastic way to kick off the summer and encourage families to get out and enjoy the Aussie outdoors.
“We look forward to working closely with Andrew McShea and the wider team to produce some engaging and exciting content for the summer cricket season”.
BCF will feature in Heat digital and video content throughout the upcoming BBL|09 season and will activate at Gabba and Metricon Stadium home games. Play VideoBring The Heat BBL09
