The seventh edition of BangabandhuBangladesh Premier League (BPL) Presented by AKASH DTH starts from tomorrow (Wednesday) at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS), Dhaka. Chattogram Challengers will face Sylhet Thunder in the opening match of the tournament. On the second match of the day, Cumilla Warriors will take on Rangpur Rangers.
Jamuna Bank Dhaka Platoon, Chattogram Challengers, Rajshahi Royals, Premier Bank Khulna Tigers, Cumilla Warriors,Rangpur Rangers and Sylhet Thunderare the seven participant teams for this edition of BPL.
Matches will be played on three venues across the country. is the latest venue after Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS), Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium (ZACS), Chattogram and Sylhet International Cricket Stadium (SICS), Sylhet are the three venues.
Gazi TV (GTV) and Maasranga Television are the two official broadcast partner from Bangladesh for this year’s BPL. rabbitholebd.com will also provide live streaming for the worldwide fans.
Every match-day will feature two matches with the first match starting from 1:30 PM and the second match will start from 6:30 PM. Matches which will be held on Friday will have different match time as the first one will kick off from 2:00 PM and the second match will start from 7:00 PM.
The 38-day tournament will end on January 17 following the Final at SBNCS.
